Some of these names appear on just one document. They may not really be Gerbics, I've seen misspellings many times, but until I find that out they will remain on this page.
My hope is that with Internet Search engines, somebody out of curiosity will search for a family name and come here to this site. Fran Gerbič (5 October 1840, Cerknica – 29 March 1917, Ljubljana) was a Slovenian composer and operatic tenor. During the 1940s he was one of the best-known composers of Yugoslavia abroad. (information from Wikipedia) More information from the Slovenia Wikipedia page. He was married to the soprano Milka Gerbič swarm. Daneš ( 1854 - 1933 ). In law they were born son Hugo Viktor Gerbič ( 1881 - 1953 ) and daughter Jarmila Gerbič ( 1877 - 1964 ). Music is taught in Kamilu masku in Ljubljana, between 1865 and 1867 he studied composition and singing at the Conservatory in Prague . As an opera singer - a tenor , he worked in Prague, Zagreb , Ulm and Lemberg . He was technically manufactured singer with a significant volume of voice. Illness forced him to say goodbye to the career of opera singer and became a teacher and conductor . Included in the "birth" of the Slovenian opera life. In Ljubljana until his death worked as director of school music Nuts.

John Gerbic (born 1878 ~) brother to Rosa Gerbic Korsich. John is living with sister's family in Denver, Colorado on 1920 census. From Slovenia, immigrated in 1901 (or possibly 1907).
Rosa Gerbic Korsich has three daughters, Mary (b. 1908~), Rosa (b. 1911~) and Lucy (b. 1913~) Living on Clarkson Street. Rosa can not speak English, she immigrated to America in 1900. She can read/write.
George Gerbic (b. 1880~) wife Ella, son Joseph (b. 1918 ~) 1910 Census Cleveland, OH. Living on East 26th street N. E. George can not read or write, is a renter and works as a laborer. He immigrated in 1903. They were married in about 1914. The census lists George and Ella as Croatian.
Anna Gerbic (b. 1904~) She is listed as a servant on the 1920 census. In St. Louis City, Missouri. (difficult to read) Anna is 16 years old and born in Illinois. Her parents were also born in Illinois.

His nearest relative is Mary Gerbic who lives in Austria. He is tall with medium build, gray eyes and brown hair. He lives at 146 48th Street.
Frank Gerbic (b. 1888~) from Toledo, Ohio in Atlanta Federal Prison May 16, 1917 for violating interstate commerce laws. I have 20 pages from the Atlanta Prison but they are mainly fingerprints, inventory of items he was given when he arrived for his sentence of 1 year and 1 day. He is listed as a laborer and that read, write and speak English. (It is unclear if he can read/write English) He is German, does not smoke, parents are alive, he is not married, and his parents are both German. He has been in the US for 9 years, which would be about 1908. His brother Joseph Herbick in Pittsburgh, PA is his closest relative. He has two aliases Frank Herbeck and Frank Herbick. But his signatures on the documents are Frank Gerbic. Hopefully we will be able to find out more and link him to a family.
